For nibbling on share plates or enjoying an inventive cocktail, there’s the casual-but-sophisticated bar area complete with globe lighting and a glass wall that opens accordion style whenever weather permits. An additional, a-la-carte dining room accommodates those who’d prefer a cozy booth or, perhaps, an inviting counter seat overlooking real-time oyster shucking and a wood-burning grill that smells of crackling cedar logs. Finally, a mellow lounge space -- the only of its kind at Townsends Inlet -- offers cushy sofas into which adults can sink with a plate of small bites or a glass of wine while kids (or kids at heart) discover games nearby.
No matter where on the premises you choose to drink and dine, expect scratch-made comfort food that’s fresh, simple and worth celebrating. We’re happy to recommend a beverage for toasting…
Everything is fresh and sourced locally whenever possible. Much of the menu is driven by season. The kitchen staff trust and respect their ingredients enough to let them speak for themselves... no gussying up necessary. Even cooking methods are kept simple -- a wood-burning grill for meat and fish conjures the sensory experience of an oceanside bonfire.
